Kansas State coach Chris Klieman offered an update on the injury to running back Dylan Edwards on Monday. Edwards suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter of Saturday’s season opener against Iowa State and did not return.

It remains unclear when Kansas State running back Dylan Edwards will be healthy enough to return to the starting lineup, but head coach Chris Klieman has shared an encouraging update about the Wildcats’ top running back. “The X-ray came back negative,” Klieman said during his weekly news conference on Monday. “So that was a positive thing.”
