The National Weather Service is conducting storm surveys on Wednesday to look at damages related to severe storms Tuesday night.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. — The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed at least three tornadoes took place in Arkansas and three in Oklahoma on May 19. The organization confirmed on Tuesday that multiple tornadoes did occur a day prior and that the surveys will take time.

Following Tuesday’s storms, the NWS will be surveying storm damage across North Alabama. They plan to conduct surveys in Colbert, Jackson, Lawrence, Limestone, and Madison counties.
