The standoff between Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers took another turn while everyone waits for the legendary quarterback to make a decision about next season.

Rodgers has always been opposed to the first two phases of the offseason program. By not agreeing to terms until the third phase looms, he avoids the offseason program until the offseason program becomes, from Rodgers’s perspective, highly relevant.

This is what ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky thinks. In talking about the Steelers schedule and concerns over having Mason Rudolph at quarterback, Orlovsky said the quiet part out loud about how bad things could get for the Steelers in a hurry.

The Pittsburgh Steelers 2025 season and schedule are littered with potential revenue game storylines, starting right at the beginning. If Aaron Rodgers does sign with the Steelers, then there will be two games on the calendar for a revenge game storyline.
