By Tim Hepher, Paul Sandle, Joe Brock and Giulia Segreti PARIS (Reuters) - Airbus secured more aircraft orders on Wednesday, raising its total to $21 billion at this week’s subdued Paris Air Show, while rival Boeing opted not to announce new sales following last week’s Air India 787 crash.

The show is happening at a delicate time for Boeing, which is coming off its best month for sales in a year and a half and a deadly plane crash in India involving one of its aircraft.

Airbus SE wrapped up the Paris Air Show with more orders for its advanced A350 model, making a clean sweep at the event after perennial rival Boeing Co. chose to postpone any announcements following a fatal crash a few days before the expo.
