David Hogg, who was at the center of controversy over his efforts to primary incumbents in Congress, is leaving the Democratic National Committee.

If a majority backs the measure, Hogg and Pennsylvania State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta would lose their positions, and new elections would be held.
