With a $5 million makeover, Phoenix Theatres transformed a 10-screen cinema at Cleveland's Great Northern Mall into a cinematic escape where wall-to-wall screens, thundering sound, and luxurious recliners lure movie lovers back to the big screens.
It would be a venue Cinemark calls the "Gamescape," an entertainment center coupled with the movie-going experience.
The cinema is part of a 8,000-square-foot campus, named for the late documentary filmmaker James Redford, son of the late actor and Sundance founder Robert Redford.
Randy Finley, an influential movie theater entrepreneur who founded the regional Seven Gables movie theater chain, and later owned a winery, died Sept. 7.
