Texas Rangers' starting pitcher Kumar Rocker downed three bottles of pickle juice in order to battle cramps during the Rangers' 2-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday, per AP News' Schuyler Dixon.

Kumar Rocker’s return to the Texas Rangers’ rotation came with a quality start, cramps and lots of pickle juice.

After a 5-4, 11-inning loss to the Texas Rangers on Saturday, the Chicago White Sox will look to bounce back Sunday with new arrival Aaron Civale on the mound.

The White Sox manager was quickly ejected from the game after arguing strikes and balls with home plate umpire Marvin Hudson. Venable and Hudson got into a heated exchange, trading a few words before the manager was sent away.

Aaron Civale is a Chicago White Sox starting pitcher — for now. The 30-year-old right-hander joined the White Sox this week after he was traded to them by the Milwaukee Brewers. This came after he asked for a trade when was moved to the bullpen as Milwaukee made way for the Major League debut of its top pitching prospect, Jacob Misiorowski.
