A kangaroo was on the loose in Colorado. Irwin, the pet kangaroo, got out in Durango on Monday, prompting a call to police. Officers followed the animal into a backyard.

An “unexpected repeat offender” led cops on a chase through a Colorado town — for the second time in less than a year. The creature tries to hop around an officer in a narrow alleyway along a building, but the officer captures the runaway kangaroo before it can make its escape, video shared by the Durango Police Department shows.
