HARRISBURG, Pa. — On Sunday, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro responded to the "No Kings" protests held throughout the state and across the country the day before. "Yesterday, over 100,000 Pennsylvanians in urban, rural and suburban communities across our Commonwealth peacefully stood up and made their voices heard."
No Kings' rallies were held in dozens of Maine communities on Saturday. Protesters called out President Donald Trump's immigration policies on the same day as a military parade in Washington, D.C.
Following a week of protests across the country, nearly a dozen rallies are planned for the area this weekend, including one in downtown Raleigh.
